A California man is on the motorcycle ride of his life, visiting 48 states.

Bob Burlison, who stopped in Lincoln Tuesday night, is raising money and awareness for Kiwanis. It's a partnership with UNICEF to vaccinate women around the word for tetanus.

Bob left California, Memorial Day weekend and so far, he's been to 41 states.

"I wanted to do something significant to help Kiwanis. I've been a member for 28 years. The Eliminate Project, curing tetanus throughout the world. A baby dies every 9 minutes, 60,000 a year and we have the ability to cure it," Burlison said.

Not only is Bob raising money, he may set a world record for the longest motorcycle ride in the same country. When it's all said and done, he'll have traveled about 13 thousand miles.
