People in Lincoln were outside enjoying the weather at the third Party in the Parks of the summer.
From martial arts demonstrations to arts and crafts, Saturday's Party in the Parks offered plenty of activities for the entire family.
Kids channeled their inner artists by making marbled and recycled paper.
There was also face–painting, balloon–animal–making, and a variety of live performances.
Organizers say more than 800 people made it out to Union Plaza, at 21st and P streets, to enjoy the event.
"Today, there's five or six other amazing events in town and it's a beautiful day, and we've got a ton of people here so it's a blast," organizer Brendan Wamstad-Evans said.
The theme of this Party in the Parks, the third of the summer, was healthy living. It featured a kids' bike parade and family yoga.
If you didn't get a chance to make it out, the next Party in the Parks is scheduled for Sept. 28, and organizers say they're lining up some neat activities.
"We're going to be doing some possible instrument-making with cigar boxes, those are your hints," Wamstad-Evans said.
