Thousands of people toured Pinnacle Bank Arena for the first time.
"We've watched it come up out of the ground for quite some time, several months, you know, and it's just one those things that if we had an opportunity to participate and be here, today is an ideal time," Alan Kagel said.
An ideal time not only to see the arena, but for some family fun as well.
"The kids playing basketball is fun my little cousin's out there," Grant Krieger said.
As for the arena's aesthetics, some enjoy the view from afar.
"The outside of this looks like a rice cooker!" Sam Lapsley said.
Others dream about the view from Premium seating.
"I'm looking up and I'm looking to see where the suites are at, that's where I want to be," Eileen McDermitt said.
For Eric Wachter, that dream is a reality. His family has seats on the Premium level and today they got to check them out.
"My family had tickets in the old building since it opened and so we're excited to continue the tradition," he said.
As for everyone else who doesn't have Premium seats, some say the regular seats are still a luxury.
"I don't think there's a bad seat in the whole auditorium and they're padded, the seats are padded," Kagel said.
