Jay Z coming to Pinnacle Bank Arena

Rap mogul Jay Z announced his "Magna Carter World Tour" which includes a stop in Lincoln on December 1.  Tickets for the concert go on sale September 12th starting at 10 a.m.

The dates, which follow the tour's international run, will begin on Saturday, November 30th.  Lincoln is the second stop on his 34-date tour produced by Live Nation.  Tickets will go on sale
Thursday, September 12th starting at 10:00 a.m. local time thru www.LiveNation.com and www.Ticketmaster.com.

Beginning today, Friday, September 6, 2013, fans can click here to RSVP for early
access to presale tickets available on Wednesday, September 11th. Citi®
cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Monday, September
9th at 10am local time through Citi's Private Pass® Program. For complete presale
details visit www.citiprivatepass.com. Live Nation mobile app users will have access
to presale tickets beginning Wednesday, September 11th. Mobile users can text

    Gun shots near 18th and G Streets

    Lincoln Police say that five to six gunshots were heard near the 1800 block of G Street. Witnesses say they heard loud shouting between a group of people at Lewis Field, followed by the firing of the weapon, a little before midnight Saturday. When Lincoln Police arrived they found a couple of shell casings,  There were no reported injuries and LPD is still investigating the shooting. More >>
