Eastbound traffic on "O" Street remains shutdown near Gateway Mall.  An accident at Lyncrest Drive and O Street just after 2 p.m. sent two people to Bryan West.

Lincoln police say a van driving east was hit by a car knocking it off the road.

"The driver was transported code 1, which means it's not life threatening at this point, but the passenger was transported code 3, which means it is life threatening," Sgt. Don Scheinost said.

Westbound lanes are open, however, police say eastbound O Street will remain closed through the rush hour.
