A group of artists from the Noyes Art Gallery in Lincoln displayed their work at Sunken Gardens near 27th and Capitol Parkway Saturday.

This is the first time the gallery has hosted an event like this. Organizers said it's been in the works for nine months.

From paintings and pottery to jewelry, there was a little something for everyone.

"This one really struck me," Chris Dietz said. "I love the colors that she did with it, and I love the water lily theme."

"To have this opportunity to show here and to sell here, and make this a community event where we're marriaging nature and art is fabulous," organizer Julia Noyes said.

Noyes said she hopes the event becomes a yearly tradition.

Portions from the sales will be donated to the Foundation Gardens in Lincoln.
