13th Annual Lincoln Arts Festival

Art lovers- this weekend is for you.

The 13th annual Lincoln Arts Festival kicked off today at Southpointe Pavilions.

Nearly 100 artists from across the country will be showcasing and selling their work.

Programs manager for the Lincoln Arts Council, Doug Smith, says new to the festival this year is entertainment featuring live music from around the world. There are also several food vendors and activities available for kids.

"You can eat, you can sit in the shade and listen to great music, you can entertain your kids, you can take home some terrific art, what's not to love?" Smith said.

The festival wrapped up at 6 p.m. Saturday, but will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $1, ages 12 and under get in for free.
