WRK says in the first month alone, over 100,000 people visited the new West Haymarket Railyard, and that number will jump at the end of this week.

Friday, October 14th, WRK is putting on a Yard Party.

This is the grand opening celebration.

"We are thrilled with the success and can't wait to celebrate with everyone," says Stephanie Warner, WRK event manager.

Previous Railyard events include, Husker watch parties and pep rallies and pre and post concert social gatherings.

Friday night will be a little different though, for the first time, the party will be extended onto Canopy Street.

Warner explains, "You can take your alcoholic beverages back and forth between the establishments."

There will be live entertainment from 5pm-Midnight, including headlining act Holy Ghost, who will take the stage at 9 PM.

Tickets for the Yard Party can be purchased for $15 at http://www.canopyst.com or purchased at the door for $20.

There will be giveaways throughout the night, including over $2,000 worth of gift cards.

Entrance into the Railyard will only be on Canopy street.

The Yard Party is a 21 and up event.
