BROWNVILLE, Neb. (AP) Nebraska's two nuclear power plants are high on the list of safety violations at U.S. nuclear power plants.
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission figures show the Cooper nuclear station in Brownville led all sites in lower-level violations per reactor with 363.
Copper also had the second-highest number of higher-level violations per reactor from 2000 to 2012, with 11. The Fort Calhoun nuclear plant had eight.
