UPDATE: Police investigate shot fired in north Lincoln

A report of a short fired in north Lincoln resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old Lincoln man.

Police took Christopher Wallace to jail for attempted assault, and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Officers say a confrontation happened near 25th and Orchard Friday afternoon.

Police say the victim was mowing his lawn when Wallace pointed it at him and then fired at least two shots.  The victim was not injured. 

The bullets hit a car, and no one was hurt.  Damage to the car is estimated at about $1500.
