A famous radio show was broadcast live Saturday from the Lied Center.
Garrison Keillor's 'A Prairie Home Companion' has been a public radio staple for more than 30 years.
Originating in Minnesota, the popular show has about four million listeners each week. It features comedy sketches, music and monologues.
Keillor and his crew were live at 5 p.m. from the Lied Center's stage in front of a sold out audience.
"He's just a great guy, a great entertainer and it's a great program," John Skold of Lincoln said.
Joining Keillor on stage was vocalist Sara Watkins.
If you missed the show, it will be rebroadcast at 11 a.m. Sunday on NET Radio.
