Public invited to "Fright at the Museum"

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) Activities at the "Fright at the Museum'' event will include the spooky and the educational.

The University of Nebraska State Museum of Natural History event is scheduled to be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

There will be something for all ages on three floors of fright. They will include a candy catapult, dino disco, creepy creatures, scary science and laser shows.

Visitors are encouraged to wear costumes and bring bags to load up on candy and other goodies.      Admission will be $6 for children ages 3 and up and adults.

Mueller Planetarium will present a special Halloween-themed laser show at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Tickets will cost $5.
