A Lincoln Pius X student Sarah Piccolo entered a written plea of not guilty.  The 16-year-old also waived her right to physically appear for arraignment in Lancaster County District Court on November 6th.

Piccolo is charged with 1st degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.  She's accused of attacking another student with a knife and hammer in a school bathroom earlier this month.

No trial date is set.
