Sarah Piccolo, the Lincoln Pius X student accused of stabbing a classmate at school earlier this month wants her case moved to juvenile court.  Piccolo's attorney filed the motion Wednesday in Lancaster County District Court.

The 16-year-old is being charged as an adult in the case.  Piccolo has pleaded not guilty to first degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.  She's accused of using a knife and a hammer to attack classmate, Ellen Kopetzky, on October 7 inside a Pius bathroom.  Piccolo fled to Kansas after the incident, but turned herself into authorities there and was returned to Lincoln.

Piccolo's hearing regarding the juvenile court transfer is scheduled for November 15.
