The Railyard was packed Saturday with fans crossing their fingers and holding their breath. Luckily, they could finally breathe a sigh of relief at the end of the game.
"I thought it was awesome," Brian Chapp said. "Couldn't believe it. Crazy!"
The Huskers' performance was met with mixed reactions. While some fans said the team has a long way to go, others said the players did a few things well.
"I think their defense came out today finally," Pryce Ebel said." Let's try to earn their black shirts back."
"Looks like they're not prepared for the game," Bryan Kilpatrick said. "It's just been the same thing we've been seeing all season."
Despite the players' performance, "Go Big Red," could still be heard. And fans said win or lose, game day is always a day to look forward to.
"There's a million people, it's a sea of red just ready to have fun, ready to go celebrate with you on game day," Beau Schwenka said.
