LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ The Nebraska State Patrol says troopers have found 730 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $2.5 million, hidden inside a California semitrailer.

The seizure was made Monday following a routine inspection of the semi along Interstate 80 at Waverly, just east of Lincoln. During the inspection, a co-driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The other driver was allowed to continue, but was stopped Monday night in Lincoln and the J & J Transport semi-trailer out of San Bernardino, Calif., was searched.

The patrol says the marijuana was concealed in boxes of produce.  The 48-year-old driver from La Palma, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Authorities say the 40-year-old co-driver from Taylor, Michigan., arrested earlier will also face drug charges.
