It's a trial that wasn't easy to hear.

A mother exploiting her 14–year–old daughter for sex on Craigslist, and the truck driver who answered the ad.

The jury heard from all three of them over the course of the trial, and just after 6 Friday night, read the verdict.

The jury unanimously found Donald Grafe guilty of child sexual assault. He'll be sentenced in December, and faces 15 years to life in prison.

Grafe, who lowered his head after hearing the verdict, had entered a not–guilty plea, and throughout the trial, denied ever having sex with the daughter.

The 39–year–old was accused of having sex with her at a truck stop in Lincoln last year. Both the victim and her mother testified to having sex with him for money.

He did admit to having sex with the mother, who is already serving 90 to 120 years for her crimes.

When asked about sexually explicit photos of the daughter on his phone, he said "That picture was unclear on my phone. I didn't know exactly what it was, I knew it was nude, but I didn't know how old or anything."

Grafe also said text messages mentioning a daughter were the result of failed voice texting via his blue tooth.

The jury didn't buy it.

His family, who left the courthouse in tears, didn't have a comment about the verdict.

Neither did the prosecution or the defense.

But in their closing argument, the prosecution said "Without paying customers like him, there would be no market for mothers like her."
