Friendly rivals tailgate together

The party began early Saturday morning for some fans. Many started setting up their tents and preparing their tailgating feasts 7 a.m., but these early risers didn't leave their football spirit at home.

"It's the only way to do it, you got to be here, be early and be proud," Husker fan Tony Medina said.

Which is exactly what these Nebraska fans showed in their predictions, pride.

"Today I'm thinking Nebraska 10, Michigan 7," John Adcock said.

"Well it's going to be tight, the Huskers will prevail 23 to 21," Medina said.

Even within the sea of red, a little Spartan green stood out to take part in the fun.

"Michigan State's defense is going to dominate and the defense will probably score more than their offense, so they're still going to win," Michigan State fan Russ Hewitt said.

Though they disagree on who will win, these tailgaters created a friendly rivalry for a predicted close game.
