A stolen car leads authorities to call in a helicopter for back up in an overnight chase.

Lincoln police say a car that was reported stolen on Wednesday led to the chase involving the Lincoln Police Department, Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, and Nebraska State Patrol, as well as air support.

The chase ended in this corn field near the Kawasaki plant just south of Highway 34.

Two people were taken into custody.

One of them is 32-year-old David Hefner, who's listed as a transient. Hefner now faces three felony charges.
