Lincoln Police say a Crime Stoppers tip led to the arrest of a 20-year-old Lincoln man in the November 18th burglary of coin shop.

Police say Dakota Gaffney was arrested for breaking into The Coinery located near Cotner and A.  Police say Gaffney shattered the front door and took $2000 worth of coins and currency from the store.  They say Gaffney had a friend sell some of the coins to local pawn shops.  Police say the friend had no knowledge that the coins were stolen.

Gaffney was arrested at his home Monday night for burglary.  An attempted robbery of a Coinery employee the following week is still under investigation.
