A preliminary hearing for Otis Newcomb, the man accused in the death of an Aurora Teacher, is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in York.
Newcomb is charged with two felonies related to the Nov. 2nd accident that killed 31-year-old Lauren Akerson.
He faces aggravated motor vehicle homicide and manslaughter. Toxicology tests show Newcomb's BAC was at a level of .11 at the time of accident, over the .08 legal limit.
The publisher from the York News Times told Channel 8 Newcomb was driving a company van picking up newspapers from a printing facility in Grand Island.
Newcomb was convicted of drunk driving in Hamilton County back in 2007.
