A large storm system will move across the Rockies into the Plains Sunday. With very cold temperatures in place, this weather system should bring light snow into the area Saturday night and continue throughout most of the day Sunday before tapering off to flurries, then ending Sunday evening.

Total snow accumulations will be around 3 to 6 inches in southeastern Nebraska, with lesser amounts to the northeast.

The light snow will accumulate on roads and visibilities may be reduced to less than a mile at times.  Roads may also become slippery so use caution while driving.
