Our city is a place where all the things to live a great life can be found.

Yet right here in Lincoln, nearly 13,000 kids live in poverty.

Many families struggle, especially this time of year.

With a little help and a lot of hope, things can change.

City Impact empowers youth and families in the heart of Lincoln through programs like the Gifts of Love™ Community Christmas Store which provides income-eligible parents the opportunity to purchase gifts for their children at 70% off retail prices.

This unique approach supports the families with dignity.

Children and teens in City Impact's programs also earn vouchers to shop for their adult loved ones, allowing them to experience the joy of giving.

Now in its 17th year, Gifts of Love™ has grown from helping 17 families with $1,000 worth of items, to supporting 3,000+ children and their families with $100,000+ in NEW gifts!

1,000+ community volunteers invest in what's important through Gifts of Love™ people.

As one shopper said, "From the moment you walk in, they are so welcoming. They know you are on a low budget but want you to get some great items. At Gifts of Love™, they care about making my experience special.  They are calm and I never feel rushed."

YOU can help make experiences special for families this year.

NEW gift items and cash donations are needed to stock the shelves.

As of Dec, 11, the inventory is down 30% and $6,000 in cash donations are still needed. Items and donations may be dropped off at the City Impact office at 27th & R St M-F 8-5 or at First Baptist Church at 14th & K St (North entrance) W-Th 12- 8 PM, F 9-2 & 6-9 or S 8-5.

You may also give online at cityimpact.org.
