Speedee Mart owner Dave Gulizia described Wednesday as 'business as usual'; or so he thought.

"I got a phone call early this morning by the lottery department and it was like kind of unbelievable, just like winning the ticket, you don't think you could ever win it, you don't think you will ever sell it," he said.

Just like the winner, Speedee Mart will also receive a prize. A $50-thousand commission for selling the winning ticket, but for the Gulizia's, their excitement doesn't come from a check.

"Every day you work here and you try to sell a dream to someone, you're really excited for them and you just hope that they keep their ticket and check it often," Theresa Gulizia said.

A dream that could come true for one Nebraskan. Could it be Brian Fichter?

He found out the winning ticket was sold at Speedee Mart, just hours after buying one.

"Immediately I pulled my tickets out and realized I had a Mega Millions ticket, not Powerball ticket," he said.

A tough loss for this Speedee Mart customer.

Who is the lucky Jackpot winner? The answer is still a mystery. Even though Brian didn't buy the winning ticket, he said he's still in good spirits.

"I'm happy for whoever won, somebody's going to have a good Christmas."

Just a reminder, lottery winners have 180 days after the draw date to come forward. Also, make sure to sign the back of the ticket.
