Smith then returned to the store and checked out with the woman he walked in with.

Friday, Lincoln police contacted the shopping companion.

Lincoln police are searching for a man who Crime Stoppers describes as "the creepiest creeper."

In a video released by Crime Stoppers, you can see the man shopping at the Wal-Mart near 84th and hwy 2 on Nov. 21st.

he came in the store with a woman and a child, but while they appear to shop, the Crime Stoppers video shows him following a 16–year–old girl around the store.

LPD's Audio Visual Tech Jared Minary says there was something especially disturbing about this footage, that he felt he had to share.

"You see a lot in law enforcement. This one was even a little above and beyond, kind of just uncomfortable," he says.

You can see the man continue to trail the girl, even following her out to the parking lot.

According to police, he pressured her to let him inside her car.

"Once inside, he continued to compliment her and then grabbed her inappropriately without her consent," says Officer Katie Flood.

Walmart officials say surveillance is an important part of keeping their stores safe.

According to Walmart spokesperson Dianna Gee,"If someone breaks the law at a Walmart, there's a good chance they're going to be caught on tape and we will definitely share that information with law enforcement."

At the end of the video, you can see the man leave the store with the woman and child he came with, even giving the woman a kiss on the cheek.

Police say they hope the shared video will lead to an arrest. If caught, the suspect faces a 3rd degree Sexual Assault charge.
