This holiday season, Kohl's department stores across the country are offering around the clock shopping, keeping their doors open 24/7 now through Christmas Eve.
"I think it's wonderful, especially for last minute shoppers like us," Kami Earleywine of Lincoln said.
The popular retailer opened its doors Dec. 20 at 6 a.m., and won't close them until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve. Kohl's said they hope these extended hours will make it easier for customers to finish up their last minute holiday shopping.
Here in Lincoln, people who work late said this is a convenient way for them to check items off their Christmas list.
"I don't have to rush in traffic, beat everybody to get to the store," Veronica Hoover said. "I can just take my time, get off work and come here and shop."
And as an added bonus, Hoover said it's great when there's fewer shoppers crowding up the stores that late at night.
"It's not that crowded this time, so it's awesome that I can come here and do it," Hoover said.
But shoppers said, of course, there is a downside.
"Maybe it would be a little tiring for the workers themselves," Ludwing Siebenhor said.
Kohl's isn't the only store open 24/7. Toys 'R Us has been open since Saturday and won't close its doors until Christmas Eve.
