A call to police about a man sleeping in his car in a Walmart parking lot lead to his arrest.

Lincoln Police say a witness saw the man slumped over in his car Friday morning in the Walmart parking lot near S. 27th & Grainger Parkway.  Police say officers found 25-year-old Benjamin Martin, a former Husker defensive end, in his car with ammunition in his lap.  They say they also found a rifle in the passenger seat under a blanket and more weapons in the trunk.  Officers say more than 15 grams of meth was found.  Martin was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a controlled substance.

"There's no indication that he was intending to hurt someone inside the Wal–Mart or use that weapon on anyone, including himself," Officer Katie Flood said.

On Sunday, officers served a search warrant on a storage unit in Martin's name. Police say they found 112 grams of meth and paraphernalia in the unit.  Martin was additionally cited for possession with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.
