It's been an extra–filling Christmas for those at the People's City Mission.
More than 300 people came together for a Christmas dinner fit for a king.
Dozens of turkeys and potatoes were generously donated by people throughout Lincoln. There was also a salad bar, stuffing and plenty of pies to go around.
"Me and my children get a chance to be in a warm, safe environment," mission resident Marie Grant said. "It means us sharing our joy and love together on this beautiful day."
"It's wonderful because they come in and we're family for them," Becky Painter of the mission said. "We get to feed them, we get to love on them and hug. And it's part of being the mission."
About 30 volunteers were on hand, giving their time this holiday.
The mission also served special breakfast and lunch meals.
