This year was a roller coaster ride for the Huskers but the team ended on a good note, beating Georgia 24-19 in the Gator Bowl.

"All the drama all the stuff that's been going on in our program, the fact that we pulled this one out is a good momentum builder going into the season," says fan Mitch Lundstrom.

The Husker's season had its ups and downs.

There were a lot of injuries.

Plus, a leaked tape and unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, had people questioning Bo Pelini's status as head coach.

Pelini kept his job and ends the season with a win over an SEC team.

"It was much deserved and much needed," says fan Spencer Edwards.

The stand out play of the game was a 99 yard touchdown pass to Quincy Enunwa.

Edwards says, "That was a great play, Quincy just flew of like a man, just start running 99 yards. It was great."

"That was the best play.  I think that really changed the game around and changed a lot of momentum.  We got a lot of confidence after that play, it was great, and everybody here at Barry's was going nuts.  It was awesome," says fan, Anthony Finkral.

Fans say this win gives them hope that the Huskers, now with a lot of experienced players will be a team to be reckon with next season.

Some big names expected to come back next year, Armstrong, Bell, Abdullah and Gregory.
