Two people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident at Highway 77 & Saltillo Road Tuesday afternoon.  It happened at around 1:15 p.m.  A deputy at the scene says a white van headed northbound on Highway 77 rear-ended a black station wagon.  The driver of the station wagon was life flighted to the hospital in serious condition.

"I just heard a huge crunch, looked up, just in time to see what had taken place here. Basically, the guy was stopped at the traffic light and the minivan just hit him at full speed. It didn't look like he even touched his brakes," says eyewitness Jeremy Wagner.

Officials says the driver of the van was taken by ambulance to a hospital, but does not have serious injuries.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Officials say they're still investigating the accident. No citations have been made.

We have a reporter there and we'll have the latest at 5 & 6.
