Two-vehicle accident sends one to hospital

Police say one person is still recovering in the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in north Lincoln.

It happened just after 2 a.m. Saturday near North 50th and Huntington. Police say the 28-year-old driver was heading north, violated a stop sign and hit an eastbound vehicle. Two people were inside the vehicle that was struck but officials say they weren't injured.

Police say the driver was unresponsive at the scene and was transported to Bryan West with life-threatening injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
