Lincoln Police say a 20-year-old man was arrested Monday for leaving the scene of an accident on early Sunday morning.  The charge is a felony.  Police say John Marsh was driving a car that crashed into a tree near 34th & Madison Avenue in north Lincoln.

Police say when emergency crews arrived, there was no one inside the car.  Police say airbags had been deployed and there was a significant amount of blood found inside.  Police later discovered a 22-year-old male and 19-year-old female being treated at Bryan West for injuries.  Police say the pair claimed the injuries were from falling down some stairs, but later admitted they were passengers in the 34th & Madison accident. The male suffered a broken leg, and the female was treated for cuts to her face.

Police say there were also two dogs in that car, one died and another was treated for a broken leg.
