The Salvation Army got a big surprise Friday. An anonymous donor gave them $1 million.
It came in the form of stock gifts and can go to anything within the Salvation Army.
They're not sure what they're going to do with the money yet, but they said it will help them for a number of years.
"My annual budget is about 1.25 million a year so almost an equivalent of our annual can be dropped as a donation. It's a very significant amount," Major Jamie Pennington said.
Several other non-profits also received money from the anonymous donor, totaling around $33 million.
