Searching for Lucy

Lucy, a lhasa apso, has now spent multiple nights outside in the cold.  Saturday morning, a group will meet at 148th and Fletcher, near Waverly, to conduct a search for the small pup.

"She might be trying to find home but she doesn't know how to do that," explains Lucy's owner, Gloria Montgomery, as she holds back tears.

Lucy ran away after a Lincoln groomer gave her to the wrong owner, who lives in rural Lancaster County.

A bowl of food left out over night was eaten, though they're not positive Lucy ate it.

A trail cam has also been set up.

"If there's even a sign that she is still out there somewhere that would be good," says Montgomery.

There is a reward for whoever returns Lucy.  If the rescuer does not want the reward, it will be donated to the local group, Lost Dogs of Lancaster County.
