Update: Lincoln voters unanimously approved the $153 million LPS bond issue.
Unofficial results from the Lancaster County Election Commissioner's office for the Lincoln School Bond issue as of 6 p.m.:
For: 39,153 66.8%
Against: 19,597 33.2%
According to Lancaster County Election Commissioner David Shively, 33.5 percent of ballots have been collected; that's around 55,000.
Shively says the mail-in only option was a good choice this year due to winter weather. So far, participation is already up nearly 10 percent from the last bond issue vote.
Voters had until 5 p.m. tonight to get their ballots in.
