Just 2 days after leaving the game against Penn State, Nebraska Sophomore Forward Walter Pitchford practiced fully on Saturday and is expected to play Sunday when the Huskers host Purdue.
Pitchford left in the second half Thursday's game after colliding with a Nittany Lion player. He would not return.
Head Coach Tim Miles described the injury as a bone bruise. "I thought he practiced pretty well," Miles said. "Is he 100%? I don't know, but when he moved, he seemed to move fine."
Nebraska and Purdue tip-off from Sunday at 3:15 from Pinnacle Bank Arena. The game is televised on BTN.
