Two and a half decades of making science fun.

One elementary school is celebrated its 25th Science Fair, thanks to one teacher.

"When you see kids get excited about science, then I get excited about science too," says fifth grade teacher Curtis Mann.

In 1990 Mann started Meadow Lane Elementary's annual science fair and he's been in charge of it ever since.

Tuesday night youngsters of all ages presented their work.

Mann is also the director of the upcoming district science fair.

He says he feeds off the excitement and interest year after year.

Mann explains, "Science is fun. Science is exciting. Science is the world."

"He knows a lot about science and I think science is very fun," says one student, Drake Heywood.

Arysa Logue adds, "He's a great teacher."

The Zoetis-LPS-Novartis district science fair is March 20th at the Lancaster Event Center.

5th through 8th graders' projects will be on display.
