Miss Nebraska 2013 has made her way to Lincoln to inspire students to be the best they can be.
It's called the "Believe, Achieve, Succeed" speech, and the titleholder has given it to about 60 schools across the state.
JaCee Pilkington stopped by Beattie Elementary Friday to share her journey to becoming Miss Nebraska, and to also teach students the importance of believing in themselves and never giving up on their dreams.
She also discussed the importance of knowing what it's like to walk in someone else's shoes by having a group of children walk in her high heals.
"You should always try to achieve your goals in life and succeed," student Tyrnie Varley said.
"Believe in yourself and don't let anyone crush your dreams," Emma Nelson, another student, added.
"To let them know you really can achieve those dreams, and to not let anything stand in your way," Pilkington said.
Nearly 400 kindergarten through fifth grade students filled the gym.
Miss Nebraska said she'll continue making her way throughout the state, sharing her wisdom with young students.
