LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) Crews are scheduled to begin work Monday on U.S. Route 6 west of Lincoln.
The Nebraska Department of Roads says a state contractor will add turn lanes at West 40th Street. The $1.9 million project also includes asphalt overlays, culverts and new shoulders.
The department says turns will be restricted and times, and traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The work is set for completion in late August.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously through construction zones.
