LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ A roadway and bridge repair project is expected to hamper traffic beginning next week on U.S. Highway 34 east of Lincoln.

The Nebraska Department of Roads says the work will be done on a nearly 11-mile stretch starting just east of 84th Street in Lincoln.

Traffic signals, flaggers and pilot vehicles will be used to control motorists.      The department says the project is expected to be finished in early November.
