Cause for Paws moves locations

A local re–sale boutique is getting a makeover.

Cause for Paws has moved locations. It used to be located near 56th and Old Cheney. Now it's across from Van Dorn Plaza near 48th and Normal.

The store sells gently used items ranging from clothing and accessories to furniture and antiques. All money from sales goes to local animal shelters.

The owner hopes the bigger space will bring in more customers.

"Then I think of the animals and all I have to do is look in their eyes and then I know that I'm doing the right thing," owner Sue Sturgis said. "This has made me a whole person, a happy person."

The store is already open, but grand opening celebrations will begin Friday, April 4 and continue through the weekend.
