The Capital Humane Society received a big donation today, from a familiar face.

Mark Pieloch, who helped build the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center, donated a restored 1970's muscle car. It's now up for a raffle which will take place October 10th.

Proceeds will go towards operating the Capital Humane Society and the adoption center.

"Obviously operating two facilities in the community now, our operations budget has gone up significantly and so we have to step up our fundraising efforts in the community," Bob Downey said.

There are 550 raffle tickets for sale, they cost $100 each.

"It's something, you know you buy a raffle ticket, it's just like buying a Powerball ticket, you always have a chance to win," Pieloch said.
