A crash in Lincoln sends one person to the hospital.

It happened Friday at the intersection of 56th and A just after 6 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say two kids were in the back of the red car, but they're okay because they were in car seats.

Traffic was blocked for a short time.

"You've got major streets right here and so we had just traffic everywhere. But everyone did fantastic. They got out of our way and we were able to get up here and do our job right away," Capt. Jay Adams, Lincoln Fire and Rescue, said at the scene.

Officials are still investigating the crash, but say the white car was at fault. That driver was cited.
