It's volunteering time... at least that's what the governor wants more Nebraskans to do.
Governor Dave Heineman and the First Lady talked about Serve Nebraska Week which begins next Monday. It's a statewide effort that encourages people of all ages to give back to their communities.
The governor says Nebraska ranks fifth in volunteerism among the 50 states. He's hoping the Cornhusker state can climb to first place.
