One man was sent to the hospital after a single vehicle accident on Highway 33, just east of Crete.
It happened Monday afternoon around 1:30.
Authorities say the man was traveling eastbound when he overcorrected, crossed two lanes of traffic and went into a ditch, before ending up in a nearby field.
"There was a lot of stuff he could've hit," Lancaster Co. Sheriff's Deputy, Troy Bailey, said. "He's lucky."
The man was sent to the hospital with minor back pain, but Bailey says he should be fine.
At this point, authorities believe neither alcohol nor speed played a factor.
