Lincoln Police are looking for four or five suspects involved in a home invasion.

Police say the attempted robbery happened just after 4:30 p.m. Friday in an apartment complex on the 2500 block of NW 8th Street. They say a group of men approached the 20-year-old victim, who was outside of his apartment smoking a cigarette, and forced him inside. Officials say the suspects kicked and punched the man, who suffered lacerations to the face and a broken nose.

Police say one of the suspects had a black handgun. Nothing was reported stolen.

The incident is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
