Lincoln Police say two men were arrested after a late morning burglary near 16th & M. Police say at around 11 a.m. Monday. Police say an employee of Iron Brush Tattoo pulled up to the business and saw two unknown men leaving. Police say they asked if the tattoo parlor was open, and the employee replied it was not. The two men left the area.

Police say after the employee went inside, he spoke with another employee, who had been in the basement of the shop. That employee had inadvertently left the front door unlocked when he arrived that morning. Police say they checked the register and found a small amount of cash had been stolen. One of the employees hopped on his bike and located the suspects at 17th & L streets. Police arrested 38-year-old Robert Howard and 39-year-old Jason Lassen, both transients. Howard was taken to the Lancaster County Jail. Police say Lassen was cited and released to medical personnel due to his intoxication level.
