Two stores, new to Lincoln, will host their grand opening Thursday.  HomeGoods and Marshalls are prepared to welcome customers at 8 a.m.

HomeGoods sells home furnishings and Marshalls is a discounted department store, similar to its sister company, T.J. Maxx.  Becky Lein plans to shop, opening day, "We have gone to them in other states and I'm excited to have one come here," says Lein.  Sarah Heins adds, "It gives more variety. I think, for the type of people who like to shop around and find a good buy, they're really going to love it because it's the scavenger type of hunting."

The two stores are owned by the same company.  They occupy one building in the Wilderness Hills lot, off 27th and Yankee Hill.  The stores have separate entrances but share a checkout area.
