Walking for tornado relief

One man is helping tornado victims, one step at a time.

Dale Caston is walking is walking from Delaware to San Francisco. Wednesday, he was in Roca.

He's raising money for a national organization called, "All Hands Volunteers." They help victims of natural disasters. They were recently in Pilger to help tornado victims.

"When they go into a community, they ask what they want to have done. It's ran very well.. I was inspired. I read about them and it's just a great organization," Caston said.

All Hands Volunteers recruit people across the country to help victims of natural disasters.

Dale has walked 1,300 miles so far.

    Crews have begun work to repave and make other improvements on southbound 14th st., heading from Hwy 2 to Warlick Boulevard, and that means the southbound lanes is closed off to thru traffic; which can be a headache for local businesses in the area.
