A float in the city of Norfolk's Fourth of July parade has sparked a lot of controversy. The float showed an outhouse with a dark figure using a walker on the outside. The outhouse was labeled "OBAMA PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY."

The Nebraska Democratic Party says it's extremely disappointed in the town of Norfolk for allowing the float. In an E-mailed statement, it says the float was one of the worst shows of racism and disrespect for the office of the Presidency that Nebraska has ever seen.

"There is a level of respect for the office of the Presidency which should not be crossed," Dan Marvin, NDP Executive Director, said. "It's beyond disappointing the City of Norfolk, its officials and citizens would allow such a thing."
